About this event
Art in the Park is a juried outdoor fine art and handcraft show held along Park Avenue in downtown Blowing Rock, North Carolina, planned and administered by the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce. Artists' tents extend from Main Street to Wallingford Street and exhibitors show handcrafted jewelry, pottery, fiber, glass, photography and painting. The October 3, 2026 show is the last of six shows in the 2026 season and runs 10am to 4pm, rain or shine. The event was created in 1962 by area artists and craftspeople.

- Free Art in the Park shuttle runs 10am-4pm from free parking at Shoppes on the Parkway. Free parking also at the Maple Street lot and in the parking decks on Wallingford St. and at Blowing Rock Art & History Museum; some lots such as Rumple Church and Blowing Rock School charge a small charity fee.
